The ABCs of Palestine: Al-Aqsa Mosque

Al-Aqsa Mosque is located in Jerusalem. It is the second mosque built on earth after Al-Masjid Al-Haram, the first Qibla, and the third holiest sanctuary in Islam. It was named “Al-Aqsa” because of its great distance from Makkah.
