During the month of Jumada al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to January 2025, Family Pledge presented an educational series entitled “The Prophets and Bayt Al-Maqdis”, which aimed to introduce children to the land of Jerusalem, its holy sites, and the history of the prophets, through an interactive storytelling approach that blended education, artistic activities, and interactive games, thereby instilling spiritual and national values in the hearts of young learners.
The episodes of the program were presented by Dr. Sarah Al-Owaisi, who accompanied the children on a rich cognitive journey filled with adventures and educational stories.
The series began with the episode “Al-Aqsa Mosque”, where children learned about its virtue and status, and developed love and a sense of belonging to Al-Aqsa through interactive activities and games that deepened feelings of pride and dignity in the holy sites.
This was followed by the episode “Bayt Al-Maqdis”, which revealed to children the history of Jerusalem as a blessed land that hosted prophets and divine messages, and reinforced their appreciation of spiritual values and authentic identity.
In the episode “Our Master Adam, peace be upon him”, children learned about the story of creation, the blessing of life, and the values of repentance and new beginnings, through artistic and theatrical activities that nurtured faith-based thinking and self-confidence.
The episode “Our Master Ibrahim, peace be upon him” presented the journey of faith and sacrifice from Mecca to Bayt Al-Maqdis, teaching children trust in God and steadfastness in principles.
In the episode “Our Master Musa, peace be upon him”, children accompanied Moses and his people on the journey of freedom to the Holy Land, acquiring a spirit of leadership and determination, while enjoying activities that strengthened courage and the ability to face challenges.
This was followed by the episode “Our Master Isa, peace be upon him”, which introduced children to the message of love and peace, and developed values of tolerance and mercy through impactful theatrical stories.
In the episode “Our Master Muhammad ﷺ”, children experienced the journey of Al-Isra and Al-Mi‘raj from Mecca to Bayt Al-Maqdis and onward to the heavens, gaining an understanding of the status of the Prophet ﷺ and love for him, through an imaginative and impactful educational experience that reinforced faith and pride in belonging to the nation of Muhammad.
The series concluded with the episode “Our Master Isa, peace be upon him – The Glad Tidings of Hope”, where children learned about the prophecy of the return of Isa, peace be upon him, and the emergence of justice, planting in their hearts the values of hope and steadfastness upon goodness, through an inspiring story that built optimism and faith in the future.
The series “The Prophets and Bayt Al-Maqdis” reflects Family Pledge’s vision of connecting children to the history of the prophets and Islamic holy sites, through the presentation of interactive and entertaining content rich in faith-based and national values
