Hot Meals Project – Sustaining the Palestinian Family in Gaza

Amid the blockade and the severe humanitarian conditions faced by the people of Gaza, Family Pledge launched the Hot Meals Project as one of its emergency relief initiatives, responding to the suffering of thousands of families who have lost their homes and sources of income. The project aims to secure a minimum level of food security amid supply shortages and soaring prices.

The project provides healthy, ready-to-eat meals that meet the needs of affected families—especially those headed by women—helping to ease their struggle to find food during times of displacement and war. These meals are prepared in field-based cooking and packaging centers to ensure the timely and organized delivery of food to those in need.

Beyond immediate relief, the project also seeks to empower women breadwinners by engaging them in meal preparation and production, offering them a dignified source of income and strengthening their role within the community during times of crisis.

Through this initiative, Family Pledge upholds the values of dignity and solidarity in humanitarian work, combining rapid relief with sustainable empowerment. The Hot Meals Project stands as a pioneering model of resilience and compassion—turning pain into action, hardship into solidarity, and crisis into an opportunity to rekindle hope amid the blockade
